About AmiFam

Bojan Gasparovic built AmiFam to know that his mom is OK. She is 70 and lives alone. AmiFam shows the people you care about that your day is going as normal, from signals your phone already has: the first unlock in the morning, the charger, the battery. It never shares where you are.

Who makes AmiFam

AmiFam is made by zeroemdashes, Bojan’s independent software publisher in Marbella, Spain.

Bojan has 20 years in tech: developer, then CEO, then VP of Product. He designs and builds AmiFam: the app, the server and this website.

Why AmiFam never shares location

A dot on a map tells you where a phone is. It does not tell you that the person is OK, and most people do not want to be followed, even by family.

So AmiFam shares only the signals each person chooses. It never shares their location, messages, calls, contacts, photos or the apps they use. Each person can stop sharing at any time. The privacy policy lists everything AmiFam stores.

What AmiFam is not

AmiFam is not an emergency service, and it does not call for help. If someone needs a person to come to them in an emergency, keep a personal alarm as well.
